1. Service and scope
FitnessTap provides general fitness, everyday activity, workout browsing and training records for adults. Workout names and themes help you browse; they do not mean every activity is suitable for everyone or constitute an assessment of your health. Available features depend on the version you use.
2. Free access and advertising
FitnessTap’s business model is free access supported by advertising. Ads do not represent our endorsement of third-party products, health claims or services. Third-party providers are responsible for their offerings, and you retain your rights under applicable law. If paid features are introduced, their price, scope and conditions will be disclosed before purchase and require your confirmation. These terms alone do not authorize charges.
3. Health information and non-medical service
This product does not provide diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, medical monitoring or emergency care. Themes such as getting active with diabetes, bone and joint health, and movement for older adults contain general exercise material, not a treatment plan for your condition. We do not guarantee reduced blood glucose, treatment of joint disease, prevention of injury or any particular training outcome. Do not delay medical care or change medication, a prescribed diet or your clinician’s instructions based on app content.
4. Before exercising
If you have diabetes, cardiovascular or joint disease, a recent injury or surgery, pregnancy, or another circumstance affecting exercise, consult a clinician or appropriately qualified professional about suitable activities and intensity. Training suggestions use limited inputs and records; they cannot identify contraindications or replace professional judgment. Check that your space, equipment and clothing are suitable. Choose, reduce the intensity of, or skip movements according to your abilities.
5. Diabetes and joint-related content
People using insulin or certain other diabetes medications may experience low blood glucose during or after exercise. Follow your healthcare team’s monitoring and response plan. Do not adjust medication based on this product. The product does not monitor blood glucose or detect hypoglycemia.
Joint pain, swelling, recent injuries and recovery after surgery may affect movement choices. Do not force a movement that causes significant pain. Stop the relevant activity and seek professional guidance if pain, swelling or other symptoms persist or worsen. Cartoon cover illustrations identify workouts; they are not precise movement instructions.
6. Exercise risks and warning signs
Exercise can involve falls, strains, joint discomfort and other risks. Individual responses vary. If you experience chest pain, fainting, severe shortness of breath or other emergency symptoms, stop exercising and contact local emergency services immediately; do not wait for an app prompt. Do not follow workouts while driving or doing anything else that requires your full attention.
7. License and appropriate use
Subject to applicable terms, you may use the product for personal, non-commercial purposes. Rights in the software, brand and content belong to their respective owners. Without permission, you must not unlawfully copy, sell, distribute or misuse content or interfere with service security. This does not restrict fair use, interoperability or other exceptions protected by law.
8. Data, connectivity and third parties
See the Privacy Policy for how profile information and training records are handled. Protect access to your device. Downloads, content updates or future advertising features may require connectivity; data charges are governed by your arrangements with your network provider. External links are operated by third parties, but this does not remove our obligations under applicable law.
9. Changes, interruptions and limits of responsibility
We may update workouts or features and will reasonably communicate significant changes affecting use. Maintenance, network or device issues may temporarily interrupt service, and we will take reasonable steps to address them. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or particular exercise results, but will meet our obligations under applicable law.
These terms do not exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury or infringement of statutory consumer rights. Using the product does not waive your legal remedies or mean you bear responsibility for every loss.
10. Updates to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes and will revise the date on this page. We will provide appropriate notice of material changes and obtain separate consent where legally required. These terms do not affect mandatory protections you have under applicable law.
